President Barack Obama, we are impressed with your gracious and deferential meeting this morning with Pope Benedict XVI. We are looking forward to resolution of matters that test faith, courage, and soul.
In July of 2008, a 12 year old child was shopping with her parents in my former place of employment, the Kennedy Gallery. The art store is located on Main Street in Hyannis. There are plenty of tourists and travellers that like to talk politics despite the admonitions of the proprietor to focus on art, not policy. Needless to day, Hyannis has a historical tradition with political figures. A discussion, and debate evolved generated by this young student of Saint Francis Xavier and her family. Her older sister was a student at College of the Holy Cross, and has dreams and aspirations of becoming a physician, like her Dad. The younger daugher has dreams of also attending Holy Cross, and someday becoming a teacher.
A capable and competent obstetrician, he valiantly assisted his little girl in an argument important to him and his family. His wife was loyal and remained at his side with gems of wisdom, despite the controversial nature of the debate. What a wonderful mother these girs have. Many patrons and customer witnessed a discussion that they probably won't forget. As a result of this debate, this underage child voted by proxy in the Novemeber 2008, Presidential Election. The ballot is scanned and posted below. I can reassure there are many people interested in the vote that this child cast, by proxy, on a beautiful, warm, sunny day in November.
These children were aware of a serious and classified matter. The difficulty our nation was facing was resolved with the assistance of our Pope, John Paul II. Under the direction of the Pontiff, all Cardinals, priests and laity, Catholic School children were instructed to pray the Holy Catholic Rosary. According to Catholic doctrine, tradition and history, The Holy Catholic Rosary was given to children at Fatima to prevent World War. The Rosary is a garland of prayers to Our Holy Mother, to implore Jesus, her beloved Son, to call upon the Holy Father for intercession.
The event remains classified. The ultimate prayer of the Holy Rosary is for divine intervention, protection from all that is ultimately, evil.
Many have asked to review the ballot scanned and retained to confirm that a child under the age of 14 voted in the November Presidential Election. Most of those asking are Catholic priests, and practicing Roman Catholics at Saint Francis Xavier Parish in Hyannis. The child voted top of the ticket only, and voted with her family. As reproductive rights were an issue for debate, the child was instructed to consult her family, and consider the sentiments of her parents paramount. The municipal candidates running for local political seats were chosen by me, as were the items I voted on the referenda. This means Milne and Cippollini, get your act together!
This image is for another young lady, one I hold in high regard, and deserves all of my prayers. Blessings to this young girl, her brother and her Dad.
(Moving toward resolution.)
CIA Director Leon Panetta has ordered an internal inquiry into the agency's handling of a contentious and still highly classified intelligence program that has caused a heated dispute between the CIA and Democrats on the House intelligence committee. The move by Panetta appears to be an implicit acknowledgment by the agency that it should have disclosed information about the post-9/11 secret program to Congress much earlier than it did.
The internal CIA probe was described by an official with first-hand knowledge as a review by a senior agency officer--rather than a formal investigation by the inspector general's office. The senior officer is not connected with the National Clandestine Service, the CIA branch whose actions are under scrutiny, according to the official who is familiar with the inquiry.
CIA and congressional officials have refused to describe the nature of the covert program, but insisted it is not connected to the CIA's use of controversial "enhanced" interrogation techniques. But the program's existence erupted into a major political dispute Wednesday night when seven Democrats on the House intelligence committee released a letter charging that the agency had "concealed significant actions" and "misled" members of Congress by failing to inform the oversight committees about the program until last month. The Democrats demanded that Panetta "publicly correct" his statement of May 15 declaring that "it is not our policy or practice to mislead Congress."
