Elect Taryn Thoman - Charter Commission!
Not exactly good fortune to know Taryn Thoman of Marstons Mills! Taryn didn't come in last in the Charter Commission Contest, but she may as well have. Thoman finished "just outside of the winner's circle" and still hasn't gotten over the fact that she is a loser! Instead of taking the high road, Thoman has decided to bring Citizens for Open Government Down With Her nasty tactics and outrageous antics.
Note the names of politicos that signed the petition of Taryn Thoman for Charter Commissioner. This is the reason why Taryn is protected by COG. Who needs the embarassment or the humiliation created by a monster like Thoman.

Note the name of J. Gregory Milne on the Charter Petition posted above. Milne nominated Taryn Thoman as a candidate for charter commission. Milne sold one constituent and an entire neighborhood full of children up the river for political gain. Milne no longer wants to take responsibility for Thoman's actions.

For years the rumor has swirled around Hyannis that J. Gregory Milne, member of the Barnstable Town Council from Precinct 13, newly minted member of the town's charter commission and a candidate for Barnstable County Commissioner had been arrested more than ten years ago for domestic assault. To wit, Milne was believed to have assaulted his mother. Apparently three Barnstable police officers also believed that Milne assaulted his mother, because they arrested him.
At Tuesday night's debate Milne said he was "inspired to run by his mother."
According to the booking report of which BCR has a copy (see below), booking report #B9501889, Milne was arrested at 10:42 PM at 49 Harbor Road in Hyannis. He was taken to the Barnstable Police headquarters, booked and "jailed." The charge against him was domestic assault and battery. A description of Milne's offense on the report, perhaps we should say 'alleged' offense, says " ...assault - strongarm."

The inside information on Thoman's court performance last week is that she was a complete disaster. I was asked not to repeat what transpired. Let's just say that my initial suspicions of Thoman's narcotics affliction were confirmed in court.
I also got a call over the RecallJoakim2008.com anonymous blog and folks were fishing for information again. This is the signature of the Joakim camp. I anticipate that the BPD will most likely charge Thoman on Thursday. Sometimes I'm wrong. We can all hope. You should be aware that the anti-Joakim blog is authored by Thoman. Taryn mentioned she was going to set this blog up last spring and she would do this with an untraceable credit card.
I would move for the forced resignation of Joakim based on her incompetence. It can't get much worse than this. Hutchenrider knows about the Thoman incident. I hope you don't mind if I mentioned that you have been very supportive of the difficulty that I have endured and that you apologized to me for not realizing the magnitude of how Thoman's behavior affected me. I told her that you mentioned that I was a constituent and that you would have provided me with some good advice about what to do in regard to Taryn if you had known of the serious nature of her problems. I mentioned to Linda that none of us had knowledge of Thoman's addiction. I also explained that you had limited knowledge of the recall effort and that you were in no way participatory in the formulation of the strategy to remove Joakim from office. I also mentioned how gracious and refined you have been. She agreed that you were a person of remarkable integrity. You are obviously back in her good graces.
I've worked your name around the inside of the Joakim camp and dispelled any rumors that you have any direct connection to Thoman.
This means distance yourself in every way from Taryn Thoman. Good luck tomorrow. This information is obviously closed correspondence.

I hold an MBA from UMASS Boston's College of Management and I've worked as a business consultant for many years. There is no reason to think that I can't work with business owners in Hyannis. Maybe the HACC membership would welcome a fresh perspective?
