Consider the image of a "composting toilet" that resolves the "overflow" of the homeless into nearby wooded areas of Hyannis. For eight years, I researched a number of items related to Housing Assistance Corporation and the delivery of negligent services. The organization accepted not only a number of campaign contributions from public officials to expand substandard services, they accepted convicted felons, sex offenders and narcotics addicts. The organization declined to accept responsibility for billing third party reimbursement for unrecovered and unrehabilitated offenders.
Rick Presbrey denied that any such offenders were known to shelter services, until he, himself was caught with his "pants down". Clients continue to live in wooded areas of Hyannis without running water or access to lavatory facilities. The current argument before the Barnstable Town Council involved the efforts of Taryn Thoman to manage and maintain a self-proclaimed Political Action Committee to galvanize voters on sewer initiative.
Taryn Thoman is the so called "activist" that unsuccessfully attempted to recall President Janet Swain Joakim. She is currently threatening Councilor Milne of Precint 13 for his support of sewering betterments for Stewart's Creek. Thoman was supported by Eric Schwaab after Taryn Thoman was charged with criminal harassment in 2008. Thoman has nearly foreclosed on her 22 Mountain Ash Road home.
